Backups, who needs them right ?….. It’d be fair to say in our experience when we go into a new business and they think their business has good backup resilience, in all honesty very few of them actually do.

Your backups are only as good as your systems they run on, the level of security in place to protect them and the technologies employed to manage them and where you choose to locate them.

Modular Business Solutions has its own Data Center dedicated for hosting backups and this data center is located in Perth with rapid restoration systems in place. We always use two different technologies for backups and always have 3 x locations that backups reside. We also have dedicated backup resiliency team members whose sole job is to manage this for our clients, we take this stuff seriously and we require our clients to do so as well as your business depends on it.

We approach your data as though it were our very own. We trust nobody or any once thing to protect it, instead choosing to use a suite a products and processes and then QA and test by our team members to ensure that we can restore your data.

Topology

We consider your production environment hot and dangerous. So we use two different systems to back it up and store your data in these different formats into a total of 4 separate locations.

As part of our managed backup solutions we additionally install other systems and protocols to reduce risk to your system in order to mitigate having to enact on any DR scenario. These include but are not limited to the following, we see these as part of the system with the top 3 being not negotiable.
